American Girl

We have journeyed to a place we can never come back from.... The American Girl Place.
The girls and I went with my sister and her 2 girls and it was something I had never experienced. Girlyness to its very core.
I found myself drawn to the dolls and their clothes and accessories in an almost zombie like trance which took the sting slightly from the price tag.We bought Kit and Lex just loves her. Which I guess is the most important thing.

Hearts at Home

I went to the Hearts at home conference for the first time this year. It was fantastic and a must for any mom.
I went with my sister and 2 other friends we had a great time. Stopped at a scrap booking store.

This is where I spent $100 on scrap booking paper, but its an investment....

At the conference the main thing I came home with is that I am not alone. That we as parents are all going through the same joys and frustrations with our children. I knew that, but I guess I needed reminding. The other thing I knew, but was trying to hide from was that I need to make more time for God and spiritual growth. It should not be on the bottom of the to-do list, but on the top. Please pray for me.
My favorite speaker at the conference:

Jane spoke directly to my heart.
